The prettiest palette EVER??
It was my birthday on Friday-yay! Hence I decided to celebrate by spending far too much money on make up (well what better way to celebrate?!)
I had been eyeing up the Too Faced Natural Love eyeshadow palette for a few months now so it was my first purchase. This has to be the prettiest, most girly palette ever and I think I may be in love with it!

I am a great lover of pastel pinks and purples and this has some of the most gorgeous shimmery shades ever and yet it still has a good balance of more natural colours. The palette comes in a box with a little book with some eye ideas (haven't tried these out yet but looking forward to it) and the palette itself has a brilliant big mirror that would be great on the go. I've seen other reviews that state that this palette wouldn't be good for travel but I would disagree-its so slim, it could easily fit into a travel bag. I actually took mine to Dublin this weekend and it held up perfectly to air travel.
Now the colours themselves. The majority are fab and have brilliant pigment. One or two-particularly the lighter mattes, don't have great cover but to be honest I'll mostly be using these as a base for the more pretty, shimmery colours. Below are the swatches, a row at a time:

Shades (left to right): Heaven, Fairy Tale, Nudie, Tickle Me, Don't Settle, Fingers Crossed
Heaven is very sheer-it was quite hard to swatch this shade. Fairy Tale is a lovely, glittery gold but does take a while to build up. Nudie is a little patchy (as can be seen in the picture) and the last three are great shades!

Lace Teddy, Satin Sheets, Push-Up, Honey Pot, Chocolate Martini, Undercover
The matte shade-Lace Teddy, was again the hardest to swatch. The others were lovely and smooth and my particular favourite is Satin Sheets. This is the most fabulous duo chrome shade-its a sort of peach, lilac, pink, gold combo. Amazing!

Pink Cheeks, Kittens, Bunny Nose, Moonbeam, Love Bug, Smokin'
This row didn't show up that well on the camera but this is probably my favourite row. Kittens, Bunny Nose and Moonbean are all beautiful shimmery shades. Pink Cheeks was the only shade that was a little too sheer.

Poodle, Cutie Patootie, Dear Diary, Coffee Date, Spoiled, Night Fever
Again a fab row, all great pigmented shimmer and glitter shades. Cutie Patootie is a pretty rose gold shade that would be a lovely lid shade.

Spotlight, Honey Butter, Honeymoon, Hot & Bothered, Make-up & Chill, Stilleto
This row has three mattes in it-I used all three today as nice neutral shades for work. This is probably the least exciting row but the shades are very wearable and blend very well. Honeymoon is another more intense rose gold shade which is really beautiful.
All in all I am very happy with this palette-I love the colours and there are so many different combinations to explore. It is a little pricey-£52 in the UK, but you do get 30 different shades so over double the amount of most other palettes such as the Urban Decay Naked palettes. I would whole heartedly recommend this for anyone who is a girly girl-but be quick as this is only a limited addition!
Love Bertie xx
